Job description
Seeking a dynamic individual, preferably a recent graduate in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field, to join our team. The ideal candidate is adept at cultivating strong customer relationships and thrives in integrating themselves into our clients' ecosystem. A technical background and a passion for bioenergy would be a significant asset.
Responsibilities include organising job files, tracking and following up on quotations, updating sales spreadsheets, and engaging customers regarding equipment services and service kits. We prioritise customer satisfaction, actively pursuing feedback through surveys and arranging lunch and learns. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to support exhibitions.

Roles Available:
- We are currently recruiting for several different companies across the UK who are looking to recruit Graduates wanting to explore a career in Sales.
- The roles we have available are field based visiting existing customers or generating new business opportunities to provide the best solution for the client.
All roles are business to business. - Your journey will start by shadowing experienced sales professionals and receiving hands on training on the products and services whilst training on internal systems.
- You will be enrolled onto the Discovery Sales Success Level 4 training programme which will train you over the course of 12 months alongside your job on all the fundamentals of Sales.
What are we looking for?:
- We are open to applications from Graduates with any type of degree but particularly interested in Business Management Degrees or Engineering Degrees.
- We are looking for Graduates who have good written and verbal communication skills, a people person, self-starter, motivated, resilient and with a keen eye for detail.

About VFE:
Vacuum Furnace Engineering (VFE) is a market-leading provider of maintenance servicing for heat treatment industry equipment including vacuum furnaces, melting and casting furnaces, electron beam welders, pumps, spark plasma sintering and autoclaves. Our ServiceCare service offering incorporates planned and preventative maintenance, 24/7 emergency callouts, spares, overhaul and repair services. VFE is also a specialist in the design, supply and overhaul of vacuum furnaces including control system upgrades and modifications, and hotzone design, replacement, and overhaul.
The Role:
We are excited to be recruiting for x2 new Technical Sales Engineers to join our UK Sales team. Field based, our Technical Sales Engineers are consultative sales professionals who sell maintenance service contracts and furnace equipment with an average order value between £1,000 - £250,000. Eventually working towards KPI’s, our Sales Engineers will split their role 50% new business focused and 50% existing account management. This is a Technical Consultative role in which you will build a rapport and relationship with the customer
The Right Person:
We are looking to recruit a Graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Electronics Engineering. A people person with good communication skills – Verbal and written. We are looking for a self-starter with resilience, determination and motivation who is able to work independently and as part of a team. Must have excellent customer service skills complimented by your keen eye for detail and a never-ending commitment to delivering results.

What we can offer:

Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a commercial, client facing role, working with senior stakeholders
- Must have the minimum qualification of the subject you are to teach
- An Assessors Award qualification or equivalent (A1, CAVA, TAQA)
- A level 3 teaching qualification or equivalent (CET, PTTLS etc)
- Experience of managing consultative projects with executive stakeholders
- Experience of delivering apprenticeship programs within a Learning and Development field
- Driving licence (with a maximum of 3 penalty points)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience of delivering apprenticeships
Desirable:
- Minimum 2:1 Degree
- Experience of psychometric testing and other behavioural profiling tools
- Experience of delivering bespoke training programs
- Experience of delivering coaching at an executive level
