You will be a key part of our site Logistics team, based at our advanced manufacturing site located in Telford (Shropshire).

Purpose of the role

Our Logistics operations play a vital role in ensuring goods flow throughout our supply chain, running 24 hours a day 7 days a week and meet our customer requirements to deliver quality, fresh and convenient products.

As a Logistics Graduate you will be joining our logistics operation on a 24 – 36 months varied and challenging programme, developing your skills, and raising your strategic awareness, with the aim of becoming a key member of the site logistics team.

Your key responsibilities as a Logistics Graduate will include:

• Developing an in-depth knowledge of logistics processes, including Transport, Warehouse, Despatch and Compliance and health and safety standards
• Getting involved in logistics projects to develop your project management skills, whilst working with key cross functional stakeholders
• Growing and developing your people skills by leading and influencing those around you in the logistics team
• Communicating with all levels, including our customers and key stakeholders to always ensure transparent communication and influence key decisions
• Opportunity to work towards and gain your Transport Manager CPC or other relevant qualifications

This role will be varied and at times challenging and is based within the factory and office environments.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a driven and ambitious Logistics Graduate to join our team. To be successful you will:
• Have achieved a 2:2 degree (or higher), and CCC (or higher) at A-Level, with evidence of achievement (A bias in Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is desirable but not essential)
• Have an inquisitive and forward-thinking mindset, who is always looking to learn and develop
• Demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement and lean principles
• The ability to communicate confidently and effectively across all levels of the business
• Be confident in building effective working relationships and working as part of a team

As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to Information Systems across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Information Systems Graduate to be part of our high-performing team. You will be a key part of our site operational team, based at our advanced manufacturing site located in Telford (Shropshire).

Purpose of the role

As an Information Systems Graduate you will support the Avara business operation by developing, integrating, and supporting operational system solutions, interfacing between Production, Engineering, IT, and third-party suppliers.


Your key responsibilities as an Information Systems Graduate will include:
• Maintenance of the factory operation solutions including access rights, new users, security, and company settings
• Design, implement and support the company’s internal business and customer facing software and hardware infrastructure
• Documenting existing / new processes and procedures and updating as and when required
• Maintaining communications with users to advise of solution changes as necessary
• Delivering training as required
• Maintain and develop training and troubleshooting documentation and data standards
• Audit system performance and utilisation, maintaining KPI reporting
• 3rd party and internal support calls analysis
• Providing support in report writing and obtaining data extracts for departments across the business
• Identifying areas for improvement and streamlining and implementing approved changes
• Aid on other integrations with other solutions
• Liaise with the IT department on any IT Issues that impact the operation solutions and maintain a support issue log
• Coordinating testing of updates and issue update notifications and changes

We are looking for a driven and ambitious Information Systems Graduate to join our team. To be successful you will:
• Have an Information Systems related Bachelor’s Degree (e.g. BSc Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Systems / Data Science)
• Have some experience of working with large data sets, good data analysis and reporting skills (using MS Excel) with a proactive and tenacious approach to problem solving
• Have experience of following IT/IS processes and procedures
• Have ambition to develop and build on existing information security skills and ability to take ownership of own learning and development goals

You will be a key part of our site technical team, based at our advanced manufacturing sites located in Telford (Shropshire).

Purpose of the role

Our technical teams are key to us being able to manufacture our products and make sure we continue to produce the best products we can by meeting our own, and the industry’s, high standards to ensure we develop and manufacture safe, high-quality products for our customers and the consumer.

As a Technical Graduate you will be joining our Technical function on a 3-year varied programme where you will rotate around 2 or 3 sites and departments, learning and working as part of our technical teams within our Primary and Processing Operations, Agriculture, Compliance, and our Laboratories. You will develop your skills and raise your strategic awareness, with the aim of becoming a key member of the site technical team.

Your key responsibilities as a Technical Graduate will include:

• Developing an in-depth knowledge of technical processes including Quality, Auditing, Compliance, Foods Safety Standard and Technical Services
• Getting involved in site technical projects to develop your project management skills, whilst working with key cross functional stakeholders
• Growing and developing your people skills by leading and influencing those around you in the technical team
• Gaining qualifications in internal auditing and supporting on internal and customer audits once you are qualified
• Investigating and responding to customer queries and issues
• Communicating with all levels, including our customers and key stakeholders to always ensure transparent communication
• Monitoring environmental measures (such as noise, odour etc) and taking responsibility for key environmental elements within our locating communities
