The Centre for World University Rankings (CWUR) has revealed the top ten universities in the UK for students.

A comprehensive list of the best UK universities

The top ten list is judged based on the levels of education and training graduates receive along with the prestige of the staff members and the quality of the university’s research.

The CWUR also measures the amount of research papers the university has published in reputable journals along with ones deemed “highly influential” and is one of the only research projects that does not rely upon surveys and data submissions.

Dr Nadim Mahassen, President of CWUR, said that the organisation’s aim is to provide a comprehensive list of university rankings which can be trusted by academics, students and government officials across the globe.
