Let the New Year be an excuse to think outside the box!

Astronauts for future space missions
It was only recently that NASA revealed its plan to launch a human mission to Mars. This launch is set to take place in 2030, and NASA are now advertising for budding individuals to board the ship when it takes off.
If this is something that interests you, a degree in biology, mathematics, physical science or engineering is a must. Those looking to embark on such a mission will also need three years’ experience in the space industry or 1,000 hours of experience piloting a jet.
Animal Therapy Handler
If you're an animal lover, this could be your dream job. Pets bring joy to those in residential homes, special needs schools and hospitals, acting as a very successful form of therapy, including a way to combat loneliness and stress.
Master Lego builder
If you're an architect looking for a slightly different role, then career as a professional Lego builder could be just the ticket. The iconic company selects Master Lego Builders to work at their theme parks and discovery centres. There are only 40 individuals at the top of this field in the entire world, making it an extremely competitive career to get into, although many will begin their journey as an apprentice.
Video Game Tester
Gaming connoisseurs are now able to do what they enjoy most by testing out the latest and most state-of-the-art video games. It may seem too good to be true, but such specialists are in high demand. Main tasks include checking for faults, ensuring games are of a high quality and playing newly released game titles. Both a keen interest in tech and a good eye for detail are good skills to have.
