Discovery ADR Group opened their new offices in the centre of the city this week.

The move to 33 Bennetts Hill from nearby Jewellery Quarter is the latest development in the company’s growth which Founder, Jonathan Evans, says is central to the future success of the business. “Discovery ADR Group has supported West Midlands businesses for more than 15 years – we are very much a part of the Birmingham business community and a move into the Central Business District is just one part of our long term growth plan. Having bigger offices in a central location will allow us to further expand our business network in the heart of Birmingham while we continue to support the talent pipeline in the local area and beyond.”

Last summer, Discovery ADR Group became the first company to secure investment from Finance Birmingham’s Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP fund to support the company’s ambitious growth targets, including the creation of 15 new jobs. With a raft of new clients on the books, and retention figures bucking the national trend, the future certainly looks positive for this Birmingham firm.

Jonathan explains, “A report from the CEB last year highlighted that 40% of graduates leave their job within the first year, but Discovery Graduates, the leading division of the Discovery ADR Group, can demonstrate a 90% retention rate over the same period. We have ten regional universities producing excellent graduates but it’s our job to make sure the right graduates get to the right businesses.

“More and more companies are recognising the important part that high quality graduates can play in the future of their business - and they’re taking the time to invest in the recruitment and development process. We find people who are not only well qualified, but who are a good cultural fit for the business and who have a genuine passion and the right attitude to work in that particular sector and role.”

World-leading distribution firm, Wolseley UK has just signed Discovery Graduates for the third year running in its hunt for the best talent to join its Management Training Programme.

Sarah Bullock, Head of People Capability and Development, at Wolseley UK, said: “We want the best employees in the industry – and we want to retain them. Discovery Graduates has proven that, year on year, they can recruit top, passionate new trainees to our Management Training Programme. So far, 100% of our Management Trainees have chosen to stay on with the business after completing the programme and we are quickly developing our future managers who will be equipped to lead high performing teams.”

Additional clients of Discovery Graduates include engineering firm Hayward Tyler, Clipper Tea Ltd, Merlin Entertainments Group, Gatwick Airport, Pernod Ricard and Molson Coors.
