MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The main purpose of the role is to manage and maintain various HR-related tasks and records within the organisation.
This includes overseeing holiday records, sickness records, and contracts of employment.
Additionally, the role involves conducting inductions for new starters and providing support during 1-2-1s with managers and their teams.
Furthermore, the role requires involvement in the grievance and disciplinary process, including minute-taking responsibilities.
Depending on experience, the candidate may be entrusted with handling these tasks independently.
Another essential aspect of the role is to keep the HR systems up to date and collaborate closely with the HR Director and the Head of Learning & Development to ensure that employees’ skills gaps are addressed appropriately.
The role also entails managing job specifications and conducting personality profiling for potential candidates during the interviewing process.
The role will also require support and contribution to Health & Safety initiatives in co-ordination with the H&S Team.
The working hours are 35 hours per week, from 9 am to 5 pm, with a one-hour lunch break. Holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum plus bank holidays, company benefits include private medical cover and EAP. There will be a 6-month probationary period.

Proficient in Excel, Microsoft packages, and HR systems.
REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for someone who is degree educated within the last 3 years, and who is enthusiastic about making their career a success through hard work, dedication, and resilience.
If you have an industrial placement or experience in a commercial role, this would be advantageous.
Ideally, you will hold a full and valid driving licence.
