The Essentra Future Leaders Programme is designed to attract, train, and retain talent through a structured 3-year programme. It has been developed to provide participants with the knowledge, tools, and support to be successful within Essentra, allowing them to have the opportunity to progress within the organisation. 

The Role

The successful candidate for this exciting, key role will be part of the Global HR team and will move through the different specialist HR functions, undertaking duties that are designed to ensure the individual gains a broad and varied HR knowledge and can put knowledge into operational practice. The role will rotate through different teams and responsibilities will be assigned for each rotation. Rotational management will be with the assigned manager, with overall placement being managed by the Group HR lead. 

Job Description

This interesting role will provide support tasks undertaken within the assigned rotation, which is likely to extend to a wide variety of tasks and projects, which may include: 

  • Talent Attraction 
    • Assisting with the Career Builder system, advertising roles, short listing of suitable candidates and submitting offer details to the HR Shared Service Centre 
    • Understand and engage in building policies, processes and procedures 
    • Understanding the employer branding and assist in improving the profile of Essentra 
    • Selection tool and competency profiling 
    • Utilising recruitment systems and tools 
  • Reward 
    • Assist with reward analysis and modelling 
    • Assist with compiling data for statics and management information 
    • Understand external benchmarking and evaluation, put this to practical use 
    • Capturing pay and benefits related data as directed 
  • Talent Development 
    • Work on imbedding the competencies and values across the business 
    • Assist with the talent assessment process, evaluation and action planning 
  • Operational HR 
    • Assist with employee relations issues to gain an understanding of the process and good practice  
    • Assist in the annual Employee Engagement Survey, action planning and reporting 
    • Assist with attendance, absence, maternity and other employee related processes 
    • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders  
    • Adhere and support on global annual processes such as talent review, pay review and the management bonus scheme 
  • Engagement and Communications
    • Assist with Group internal communications content creation and channel management  
    • Assist with buildings tools and processes to improve engagement and communication within the HR community and wider enabling functions 

The Individual

Successful applicants should be able to demonstrate the following: 

  • Degree level education  
  • Capable at organising and structuring work 
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills 
  • Consistent in achieving and driving for results 
  • Diplomacy and potential for excellent communication skills 
  • Core Office 365 skills and other digital tools 
  • A strong and committed drive to pursue a career in HR  
  • CIPD Level 5 (desirable) 
  • Fluency in an additional language (desirable)

Salary and Benefits
