The Role

As a German Speaking Graduate Export Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing your territory, in the German market. This provides a great opportunity for you to use your sales skills to: better understand your customers’ needs, to spot and develop new opportunities, win new business and develop customer relationships.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end sales cycle, including the critical role of customer care along the journey and ensuring their experience with Hydrobolt is of the highest standard.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the performance and development of the German market.
  • Market to be shared with existing salesperson, German speaking areas to be split geographically into two areas.
  • Responsible for the development of the area through bringing on board new customers in the target areas, through prospecting & cold calling.
  • Attain sales goals and profitability by following the Export sales strategy.
  • Maintain discipline, focus and drive within the Export sales team and Hydrobolt Group.
  • Reporting to the International Sales Manager in a timely manner on the performance of markets.
  • To complete daily KPIs and call plans issued by the International Sales Manager.
  • To develop the sales areas by arranging and completing on-site customer visits at Hydrobolt.
  • To develop the sales areas by arranging and completing off-site visits at the customers’ / potential customers’ locations.
  • To assist the International Sales Manager and to provide cover to the International Sales department when required

The Individual

In order to be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Fluency in German and the confidence to have articulate, business level conversations.
  • You will thrive in environments that require strong relationship building skills, both with customers and internal stakeholders. It will be critical that you build networks within your customer base and your own business to do the best possible job.
  • You will not shy away from making decisions and using your initiative and will advocate for both your customers and Hydrobolt, accordingly.
  • You will demonstrate excellent planning, organising and prioritising skills.
  • You have a high level of honesty and integrity.
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a C grade pass in Maths and English.
  • A level and GCSE (preferred) in German language.
  • Degree: A 2:2 or above in German, International Business, Business, other related subjects.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Valid UK Passport.

Salary and Benefits

  • £20,000 to £25,000 per annum. Commission of 1% on target and above.
